This new French Navy vessel, currently based in Brest, will be based in Fort-de-France in Martinique.  <\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">The first BSAOM, the D&#8217;Entrecasteaux, has been operating from Noum\u00e9a in New Caledonia since July 2016. The Bougainville, the second vessel in the series, has been stationed in Papeete in Polynesia since December 2016.
