EDITORIAL
The story of Kership is the story of a challenge : to meet the growing needs of the world’s navies by combining 2 strengths, 2 traditions, 2 cultures. Those of Naval Group, the world leader in naval shipbuilding, and those of Piriou, the emblematic Breton shipyard with some 550 ships delivered.
In recent years, the development of maritime transport and activities has also led to an increase in illegal trafficking, illegal fishing and accidental or deliberate pollution, forcing governments to equip themselves with means of control and intervention. Kership was created in response to those challenges.
A bold and successful gamble, since Kership celebrated its 10th anniversary last year. Ten years that have seen the delivery of major programs to the French, Moroccan, Argentinian or Senegalese navies and the awarding of major orders, such as 12 minehunters for Royal Belgium and Netherlands Navies.
Drawing on the experience of its parent companies and the expertise of its teams, Kership is committed to working with passion and determination to protect our maritime spaces.
