On 29 September, Kership Lorient launched the Vlissingen, the second of the 12 minehunters in the MCMV programme and the first to be built in the Netherlands. The hull was then towed to Concarneau.
For the record, Kership has been entrusted with the industrial management of the programme by Naval Group and Exail, the co-contract holders. The construction of the 12 ships will be divided between the shipyards in Concarneau, Lanester and Giurgiu.
