After the ‘D’ENTRECASTEAUX’, the B2M ‘BOUGAINVILLE’ (Multi-missions vessel), the second unit in the program to be built by KERSHIP, gets underway.
On Thursday 6 October 2016, the B2M ‘BOUGAINVILLE’ left Brest for good.
Its crew has set course for the West for a long voyage that will take it as far as Polynesia in December, after several stopovers. She will then head for her new base port of Papeete, from where she will carry out her future missions of presence, surveillance and protection of French interests in a vast exclusive economic zone covering 5 million km².
