The Oostende has completed its first sea trials

MCMPF 83 - KERSHIP

Oostende, the lead vessel in the Belgian-Dutch rMCM (mine countermeasures) program, intended for the Belgian Navy, began its first sea trials campaign on July 17 from Concarneau. The objective is to test and validate the vessel’s performance at sea ahead of its delivery in summer 2025.

As a reminder, Kership has been appointed as the industrial prime contractor for the program led by Belgium Naval & Robotics, a consortium formed by Naval Group and Exail.
