STX FRANCE has just announced that it has chosen KERSHIP, the joint-venture between PIRIOU (55%) and DCNS (45%), to take over the facilities and staff of STX LORIENT, its subsidiary in Lanester.
PIRIOU is delighted to see KERSHIP gain access to the additional production capacity it needs to continue its growth, and in particular to benefit from the experience and support of the site’s 42 employees.
The presence of KERSHIP in Lanester, alongside that of PIRIOU in Lorient and Concarneau, in the immediate vicinity of DCNS and the Interprofessions of these two ports, represents a structured, diversified and therefore stronger naval center in southern Brittany.
